Psychodeus
ITA Psychodeus nasce verso la fine del 2011 a Napoli, dall’unione di esperienze musicali differenti che spaziano dal prog-sperimentale al post-hardcore/sludge. Il nuovo soggetto che prende forma amplia queste sonorità e dà vita a composizioni che miscelano noise, psichedelia, krautrock, visioni cosmiche, rituali, animalismo e Ufo, attraverso l’utilizzo di synth e textures noise, alternati a pattern ritmici serrati e campionamenti estratti dal mondo del cinema e della letteratura. Nel mese di maggio del 2013 esce il primo ep di Psychodeus, intitolato An ode to the numinous, registrato in presa diretta in 3 giorni al Sonic Temple Studio di Santa Tecla (SA).
ENG Psychodeus was born in Naples in the end of 2011, from the union of different musical experiences which went from experimental-prog to post-hardcore/sludge. The new subject expands these sounds and gives life to compositions which mix noise, psychedelic rock, krautrock, cosmic visions, rituals, animalism and Ufo, through the use of synths and noise textures, alternated with crowded rhythmical patterns and samples extracted from cinema and literature. In May 2013, Psychodeus publishes its first work, An ode to the numinous, recorded live in 3 days at Sonic Temple Studio in Santa Tecla (SA).
