About Walking:

We were sitting in front of the piano and played different chords. How does chords sound if there is only one chord played over a long time. Is there, for example, a difference between an A or a G, if you only play one chord? Sounds a G perhaps happier than another if you don't have changes? So the idea was born to write a song based on one chord. We decided to take a G chord. After Firemen's Parade On Main Street we enjoyed to play an only-one-chord song... but finally the other instruments and especially the voices move this one G chord in different directions and moods. In the last part, the song turns suddenly into other harmonics...the lyriks are about the fight with life and the meaning of music for us. How music saves you and destroys you... and saves you again.…
